Terrible day

Kenna woke up covered in hives all over her body. They didn't seem to be itchy or anything but they were everywhere. I called the doctor right away. They scheduled us to come in this afternoon. She ate breakfast and lunch fine and wasn't overly crabby. She seemed a little warm but nothing unusual.

We went to the doctor at 2. She thinks she is allergic to amoxicillin. Awesome. So the doctor prescribes azythromyacin. It smells terrible and apparently doesn't taste better. We still haven't gotten the health insurance cards from Ryan's new job, so when they ran the cards Kenna's primary came back expired so her state wouldn't cover it. So I had to pay full price. It sucked. Now we'll be overdrawn once rent goes through unless they don't cash it until after Monday. They never wait that long so we'll see. I gave her motrin, which she took very well. The benadry on the other hand, did not go well. I think half got in. Then I put her new medicine in her night time bottle. That was a huge fail. She took a few drinks and refused the rest. So we wasted a teaspoon. I'll need to figure out a new way tomorrow. Amox was so much easier to give. I hope she outgrows the allergy or that it was a fluke.

The past week has just been awful. I'm scared to go to the doctor Thursday. I can't take anymore bad news or stress. Being home was suppose to make things easier. Tomorrow has to be a better day.
