Today was our first day at the in-laws for house/dog sitting. Turns out they don't get any child related channels except Nick which stops showing toddler related things at 1pm. Great. And she just can't sit and play with toys. So while I was trying to eat dinner, she was circling my chair whining and crying. It was ridiculous. She finally started playing with one of her toys so I ran back to finish eating. She also doesn't know the layout well so she keeps getting lost. She keeps wandering into the kitchen and then yelling and whining. I keep bringing her into the living room with me and her toys but she continues to go into the kitchen. I don't get it.
Last night went amazingly better than the past 2. I turned her heater on around 10pm and went to check on her at 12. I made too much racket and she woke up and started jumping. But I kissed her and laid her down and she went back to sleep. I turned off the heater at 12:30 and she slept until almost 9. So she slept 14 hours. It was heaven. I hope tonight goes well. I don't know how cold it gets here but I really hope it goes well. She needs her sleep.
Now I'm sitting here in the big empty house listening to the dog snore. Its weird. This is what my life will be like when we get a house. Its different. I could get use to it. :)
