#2 ear infection

Today we found out Kenna has another ear infection. This time its her left ear. This is her second one in 2 months so hopefully it doesn't keep up. I got frequent ear infections when I was younger so I hope she doesn't follow in my footsteps.

She got up again this morning at 3am. This time I just rocked her for a little while and then laid her down and covered her up. She went right back to sleep. I put the small heater we have in there and I'm going to turn it on low when I go to sleep. Hopefully it keeps her warm enough to sleep through the night.  We shall see.

So when we went to the doctor, she got a hold of her plastic ring bag from the car and she would not let go. She carried it into the doctors office and played with it all during the visit. She would not let go of it. I had to get her to at least switch hands to get her sweater off and on and in and out of the car seat. It was cute. She carried it all through Target as we were getting her medicine and carried it from the car back into the house. I don't get the fascination but it works. Here she is with it watching some Yo Gabba Gabba.

I realized that I post a lot of pics of her in front of the tv. She really doesn't watch that much tv. Thats just the only place I can get pics of her that aren't blurry.

So that was our day. Despite being sick, she was very good. We walked around Target for 30 minutes and she didn't cry once. She just chewed on her bag and on her new stuffed Halloween plush that was on clearance. It was really the best Target trip we've had in a long time. Tomorrow we go up to the ILs to house/dog sit. It should be interesting. I already got all her clothes set aside. I just need to pack it with mine. I'll probably do that later tonight. I also was told that Ryan is coming home Friday night instead of Saturday. He misses us too much to go another night. :) Silly boy. I hope Kenna gets excited to see him. We'll find out in a few days.
