We survived Christmas

It was touch and go there for a little bit but we survived. Kenna did as well as expected. It could have been a lot worse. Christmas eve night we went to my dads house for that side. It was loud and busy but fun. We stayed upstairs for most of the night since it was quiet. Kenna wasn't all that interested in opening presents. She did one and since it was a toy, she just wanted to play with it and nothing else. So I opened most of her presents. Thats pretty much what she did every time. We didn't get home until 9ish. She went straight to bed when we got home. Little girl was exhasuted.

Christmas morning was done at our apartment. We got up around 9:30. Kenna ate breakfast then we tried to get her to open some presents. She did alright. She opened about 2-3 and then she was done. We didn't get her a whole lot because well she doesn't need it and I knew she'd get stuff from everyone else. Here are some pics from our Christmas morning.

The wire for the beads on top light up. She likes it a lot.

This is her playing with toys she already has. :)
Ryan got her glow sticks. She enjoyed them very much.

She also loves her Leaptop. Its one of her favorites I think.
Our little load. She got a lot of great stuff though.

Christmas afternoon was spent at my moms. She cooked us breakfast and we hung out. Kenna opened about one of her presents and she was done. She got a light up drum that she just loves. She played with it the whole time we were there and she still loves to sit and play with it. And its not loud and obnoxious so I enjoy it. This is the only family pic that we got. Its nice luckily.

Then Christmas evening we went to Ryan's family. It was nice. Kenna took a little nap while we ate then she roamed around. She had some fussy moments. She did not want to open presents at all. I think she was just overwhelmed. She went through a lot in 2 days. Once we took her into a quiet room and let her play she was much happier.

Sunday we just relaxed a bit before taking Ryan back down to the train. We got to sleep in a little since we didn't get home until after 9 Saturday night.

Today I was ridiculously productive. Since we took almost everything out of the boxes as we got them and she didn't get a large amount of stuff, we didn't have a lot of garbage. I took out about 3 loads. I also did 3 loads of laundry plus have one left to do tomorrow. I went through my closet and took out a garbage bag of clothes to send to Goodwill to make room. I took down our little tree and put away decorations. Finally I swept and steam moped the kitchen floor with my new Shark steam mop. My next project is to tackle her closet and pack away smaller clothes and hang up all the new ones. Hopefully by the end of the week, our house will be back to normal.
